The Canadian Association for the Pura Raza
Española Horse (CAPREH) is a not-for-profit organization that
supports and promotes the PRE (Pura Raza
Española) horse in Canada and assists their members with inscription
(registration) of their PRE horses
into the stud book in Spain and assists with revision (breeding
approval) of these horses. CAPREH has the Canadian protocol
with La Asociación Nacional de Criadores de Caballos de Pura Raza
Española (ANCCE) who, as of January 1, 2007, has taken over the care
of the PRE Stud Book from the Spanish Government (Cria Caballar).
